Friday November 8, Mondragon hosts the Junto Library Super Cabaret of Anarchist Talents to kick off the weekend with fun and entertainment. the show starts at 7pm, with admission by donation for Junto and the A-Zone, there will be poetry, rap, music and humor, plus great raffle prizes!

Saturday November 9, Mondragon hosts the BookFair tables from 11am to 5pm

various DIY workshops beginning at 1 pm and 3pm

and then a talk by visiting Montreal author and musician Norman Nawrocki, at 7pm.

and a dance party up in the Rocker at 10pm

Sunday November 10, Mondragon hosts the Community Brunch from 11am to 2pm. it will be $15 a plate with beverage, or PWYC

Mondragon is now seeking to increase its “used books” bookstore selection.

If you are willing to donate your quality used books we would gratefully accept them.

If you would like some compensation for your used books we can offer a credit note for the bookstore and/or the cafe.

Obviously, we are still a radical bookstore and would prefer donations of titles that fit – books that question mainstream politics and provide alternative and earth-friendly options for humans and all species would be nice!Â Â We are also interested in increasing our fiction and poetry sections – but please, no schlock!

When dropping off your used books, please leave them in a box with your contact information so that our bookstore “buyer” can get back to you with an offer of credit. Thanks!

Each day of the year features at least one radical, historical reference. There’s tons of quotes, a menstrual calendar, info on networking, DIY emotional well being tips, botanicals for healing, a ‘know your rights’ section (tips on dealing with the police). If that’s not enough…there is also… a radical contact list featuring locations all around the world, and a section to write down contact info of all the wonderful people you’ll surely meet in 2013.
